FEATURED PROJECT
Erase Your Trace
The Fairmount Park Conservancy is partnering with Mayor Nutter's Office of Sustainability in establishing a local carbon offset market that will raise money for tree planting in Philadelphia. Erase Your Trace is an online tool that will help Philadelphians calculate their annual carbon dioxide emissions and then help offset them through local tree planting efforts. Using the CarbonPlus Calculator developed by the U.S. Forest Service, Erase Your Trace is a fun and flexible tool that enables users to donate the full cost of their annual carbon emissions or a portion to offset specific activities such as vehicle use or airplane travel. For more information please visit www.eraseyourtrace.org.
Founded in 2000, the Fairmount Park Conservancy is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of the Greater Philadelphia Region through the financial support of the Fairmount Park system.
