Mission

The Fairmount Park Conservancy is dedicated to enhancing the community, economy and environment of Philadelphia by raising funds and awareness for the Fairmount Park system.

Vision

The Conservancy is committed to entrepreneurial thinking and partnerships that will position Fairmount Park as one of the world's best urban park systems. The Fairmount Park system is as vital to the community, economy and environment of Philadelphia as its historic district, its universities, its hospitals, its business community and its sports teams.

With the assistance of the Fairmount Park Conservancy, the Fairmount Park system will:

  • Attract and retain people and jobs in Philadelphia and its neighborhoods.
  • Contribute to positive real estate values and a unique urban quality of life
  • Safeguard air and water quality with abundant, healthy woodlands and watersheds.
  • Be a national treasure, a showpiece for our city, and a major tourist attraction.
